The Habanero Fatali’s spiciness is noticeable, although less intense than the Super Hot chili peppers’. This chili’s main feature is the strong fresh vegetal and fruity odour, reminiscent of citrus peel (lemon, lime, orange). Thus why it is often used to prepare jellies and marmalades.
It pairs very well with vegetables, meats, fish, legume soups and cheese. It’s considered optimal when put together with other spices to marinate BBQ meats.
Beer is the perfect beverage to accompany all dishes prepared with the Habanero Fatali, as it enhances the fruity and spice smells.
The Fatali is a variety of the Habanero family and it belongs to the Capsicum annum species. Originally from the Caribbean, this chili has been imported from Africa where it was common both in the southern and in the central areas of the continent.
