FAGIOLI ALLA MESSICANA BY PEPERITA

Ingredients:
  • 500g of borlotti beans or black beans
  • Sausages
  • 250g of tomato passata
  • 1 onion
  • ½ glass of beer
  • Salt to taste
  • Half a teaspoon of Habanero Red Savina BIO Powder – No.7
  • Extra virgin olive oil "Il Cavallino"
Procedure:
  1. Soak the beans overnight. Then, drain them and cook them in a pot for about an hour without adding salt.
  2. Once cooked, drain them, season with salt, and set aside.
  3. Finely chop the onion and sauté it with a drizzle of olive oil in a saucepan. Add the sausages, peeled and halved, and brown them over low heat.
  4. Deglaze with the beer, then pour in the tomato passata and let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked beans and continue cooking to reduce the sauce over low heat for about 25 minutes.
  6. Once ready, transfer the Mexican beans to a baking dish and season with half a teaspoon of Habanero Red Savina BIO Powder – No.7. Serve and enjoy this delicious dish rich in flavor and Mexican tradition!
